Being stuck in a line outside the festival area just as your favorite band goes on stage is never fun. The best tip is of course to show up early, but in addition we have a couple of other tips on how to avoid spending a lot of time waiting in line at the entrance to the Medieval Park. If you have already exchanged your ticket for a wrist band, you can use our so-called Fast Lane and thereby avoid having to stand in line needlessly during the festival. The easiest way to exchange your ticket for a wrist band is to visit our ticket and accreditation stand on Youngstorget (right in the centre of the city) on Monday or Tuesday. There you will find a big tent and a lot of nice people standing ready to assist you.

Opening hours, Youngstorget ticket and accreditation stand:
Monday Aug. 10: 13.00 – 19.00
Tuesday Aug. 11: 12.00 – 21.00

From Wednesday, our ticket and accreditation crew will relocate to the entrance to the Medieval Park.

ARE YOU BRINGING CHILDREN BELOW THE AGE OF 12?
Children below the age of 12, accompanied by parents/guardians, are allowed into the festival for free. However, in order to make the festival experience as safe as possible for you and your child/children, we must ask you to hand in a registration form with contact info. Read more about it here.
