The best Øya bill of all time is ready! We’re now releasing the final six acts that will perform in the Medieval Park. This year’s bill is the largest, best, and most comprehensive in the history of the Øya Festival. There are several big acts and a lot of goodies to look forward to, kids!
Nighttime Øya bill complete
We’ve previously released a selection of goodies for this year’s Nighttime Øya happenings. The Nighttime program is broader and more comprehensive than ever before. Carrying a valid Øya wrist band will grant you a discount at all Nighttime Øya venues. Below you can read more about the artists that will perform at the different clubs and venues throughout the city after the Medieval Park closes.

Wednesday bill complete
Day Passes for all days still available
The electronic segment of the Øya bill has over the past few months grown quite big, and now we have yet another exclusive addition. Lindstrøm himself will be pleasing the crowd with fresh material on the first day in the Medieval Park. This will be his only performance in Norway this time around.
The Wednesday bill is now complete. We’ll be spending a few days adjusting on-stage times and placements, but the list below is the complete line-up for Wednesday Aug. 6. Day Passes for Wednesday and all other days are still available. If you’ve heard rumors that the festival is sold out, these are incorrect. You still have the chance to catch a lot of wicked gigs in the Medieval Park and at the Nighttime Øya events.
Dirty Pretty Things in the Medieval Park
Now we have yet another tidbit for ya on Friday Aug. 8. The British rock sensation Dirty Pretty Things will be coming to the Øya Festival only a few weeks after the release of their new album.
The Øya Festival bill will be complete by the end of June, and all confirmed acts will be assigned dates and times. Day Passes for all four days in the Medieval Park are still available.
Black metal and cheerful indie
Two hot names are now confirmed for the first day in the Medieval Park, Wednesday Aug. 6, two bands that represent opposite ends of the scale on today’s rock scene. Keep of Kalessin are out now with the album ‘Kolossus’, one of the best Norwegian metal releases so far this year, while Los Campesinos are the Welsh champions of cheerful indie pop. Next week we’ll release a wicked English rock band that we’re really looking forward to seeing in the Medieval Park.
