Saviours to replace The sword

Saviours-IntoAbaddon

Unfortunately, The Sword do not seem to work quite as hard as they play.

BUT! We have booked some good friends of theirs who seemingly both play and work a notch harder than their buddies: The Saviours from Oakland, USA.
After surviving a wild tour with Mastodon last year, they have – so far in 2008 – found the time to go on tour with Early Man, Fu Manchu, High on Fire, The Sword, Black Cobra, and Witchcraft.

Last act for the park now booked. Get ready for a soul fest!

brynchristopher

Bryn Christopher from Birmingham has been called the link between Gnarls Barkley and Amy Winehouse. Yup, he has even toured with the latter mentioned diva. Lately he’s been on the road with Mary J. Blige, among others, and also taken the audience by storm at Glastonbury. The rest of the world had a little taste of what Bryn Christopher has to offer when his single was used as a soundtrack in the final episode of season four of the TV-series Grey’s Anatomy.

The hip Brooklyn chicks in Telepathe will be replacing the burnt out Spanish artist El Guincho on Friday Aug. 8. Earlier this week he reported that he’s tired, and we’ve now received the sad news that he will not be coming to the Øya Festival.
