Håkan Hellstrøm (SE)

Håkan Hellström is without a doubt one of the biggest pop artists in Scandinavia. He comes from the Swedish city of Gothenburg and began his career in the Swedish indie rock phenomenon Broder Daniel. From 2000 he has been operating solo, which the superhit “Känn Ingen Sorg För Mig, Göteborg” and the equally super album by the same name have allowed him to do. Hellström has also become a fave here in Norway, both on album, radio, and stage. His latest album so far, ‘För Sent För Edelweiss’, came out earlier this year. Friday Aug. 8 he’ll be playing his only gig in Norway this summer, opening on our biggest stage. Håkan is an outstanding artist and entertainer, capable of convincing just about any crowd. His songs continuously balance delicately between cheerful pop and melancholy undertows, which never become too strong. Fave tunes will be coming along like beads on a string – we can guarantee a real kickstart to a hot’n’heavy festival day!
